You often hear the terms dry and oily skin and immediately think that you have to opt for one of these two skin types. But not everything is always so black and white. Today in this article I will tell you what the signs of a mixed skin type are and how to properly care for that skin type.
1. What mixed skin type means
As the word “mixed type” itself says, it is a combination of dry and oily skin. If your T area (forehead, nose and chin) is generally more oily and your cheeks are usually dry, then you have combination skin. Mixed skin care is a bit more complicated as each area needs to be treated differently.
Cleansing is a basic step in caring for any skin type. Even if you do not use makeup, it is important to clean the skin of dead cells and bacteria that accumulate on the skin during the day. You can use a combination of two cleansers - in the morning for oily skin and in the evening for dry. However, you can use a cleanser for sensitive skin that will not burden the dry area and any pimples on the face.
3. Additional advice
Ideally, you should treat different areas of your skin individually. But so that it doesn't sound too complicated, I'll tell you how you can do it with just two products . Perfect Match is a set that contains Lucid serum that you apply to the T area (forehead, nose, chin) and Eclipse cream that you use at bedtime to moisturize your skin in the morning and throughout the day. Lucid is a serum that contains active ingredients that will regulate the oil in your skin, which means your skin will be less oily during the day. Eclipse cream will ensure that the dry area gets enough moisture and the skin is no longer rough.
